Months and months later, I just bought one at my husband's desperate begging, and it's WONDERFUL. My coworker also has it and uses it on her two small dogs and two cats and raves about it.

You do have to use it in a spot where you will vacuum immediately after.

i've got one for my short-but-thick-haired dog. her undercoat is phenominal, and the furminator works great on her and my old roomie's long-haired cats.

I have one. It's fabulous. It takes enough fur off of my cat to create a whole new cat. During the shedding seasons (spring in particular) I use it on him every day, and he loves it.

There's no solution to the German Shepherd hair problem, short of shaving the Shepherd, I'm afraid.

(I've never used the product in question. I just know what the Shepherd hair issue is like because my parents have two of them.)

I saw that! And then I started thinking that this was either the single most genius-idea I had ever heard of, or it must be totally fake.

Also, it reminds me of the <a href="http://www.flowbee.com/" rel="nofollow">Flowbee</a>.
