I'm trying to remember if New Zealanders were more inclined to follow recycling rules. Perhaps their worms are simply hardier?

Ooh, I want a worm bin at work. Please? For Christmas?

Though really, the other folks in this building can't seem to handle two recycling bins (round holes on top of the glass & plastic bin doesn't mean paper cups go in there, even though the paper cups are round). The poor worms wouldn't stand a chance.
