Workplace Fashion Fiasco

I can breathe a sigh of relief that my fashion choices for the last week have not been documented to the best of my knowledge (since I’m working at home) and can’t be submitted to the Boston Globe’s Workplace Fashion Fiasco.
We have one woman who only wears red, and half the time she’s wearing sort of sheer hippy-style dresses with boots and no bra, the other half of the time she’s more like a punk rock princess.
Then there are “The Williams Sisters,” who look just like them, are very very tall and muscular, and tend to wear very short tight dresses and/or Juicy Couture outfits in pink.
Comment by GhostGirl 10.20.07 @ 5:39 amI clicked through to that Boston Globe article — eww! It’s unsavory to ask people to photograph their co-workers in the office, with the intention of illustrating said co-workers poor taste in clothing, and to then send those photos in to the newspaper.
Comment by ShelbyMeyerhoff 10.20.07 @ 6:09 amBut it’s for an iphone, Shelby! (Just kidding).
I just think that if I found a photograph of myself (even with the face conceled) from a week where I wasn’t feeling very well OR a photograph from when I was feeling (and thinking I was lookin’) great on the Boston Globe in a fashion fiasco contest I would feel awful. Empathy isn’t that hard to conjure in this situation, except perhaps for the planners of the contest.
