Trust me, not being able to afford it did not stop most people from shopping.

I bought nothing because I couldn't afford it. Yet I am still happy I did not go out in the crowds. I am also grateful that I am no longer in retail because my brother had to work at 6am.

I don’t actually do much Christmas shopping, if any. I certainly don’t shop on this day anymore. We typically do charitable donations for gifts.
